I only had this for about a week, and somehow the screen cracked while it was in my bag, not even from a big drop or anything. The buttons also feel kind of loose, like they’re already wearing out. i wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

The screen is really nice, and reading on it feels super comfortable. Love. But the battery life? Oof. I expected it to last for days, especially at this price, but mine seems to drop fast even when I’m barely using it. It’s not a terrible device overall, but that part really bugs me.

I reached out to support about my issue it was way more annoying than it needed to be. I sent the message in the morning while I was drinking coffee and trying to get some work done, and then just kept checking my email like an idiot all day.

When they finally replied, it didn’t really feel like they had read what I wrote. They asked me for stuff I had already explained, so I ended up repeating myself, which is always frustrating. At one point I had my laptop open on the kitchen table with a half-eaten sandwich next to it, just trying to figure out why this was taking so long.

The issue still isn’t fixed, and I’m tired of following up. I get that support teams can be busy, but this felt dragged out and careless. Not a great experience at all.

I’ll be fair — I wasn’t expecting too much at first, but the e-ink display really impressed me. The text looks crisp, even in bright daylight, and it’s much easier on my eyes than a regular screen. I’ve used it for longer reading sessions and didn’t feel much strain at all. for what it’s meant to do, it does it really well

The case feels really solid and better made than a lot of similar ones I’ve tried. My only complaint is that the pen tips seem to wear down faster than I expected, especially compared to other pens I’ve used. Still decent overall, but I wish the tips held up a bit longer.

The updates do help sometimes, but they also seem to break little things here and there. It’s not a huge deal, just kind of annoying when something that worked fine suddenly acts weird.

I’ve been using my Boox device for reading and taking notes , and for that it does a good job . The screen looks really nice , especially for longer reading sessions . That said , it can feel a bit sluggish when I’m switching between apps or trying to open larger PDFs . The battery life is fine , but I wouldn’t call it amazing . For what it costs , I expected it to feel a little smoother overall . It’s not a bad device , just not quite as impressive as I hoped .

The return process was messy. I had to wait in a long queue just to get help, and by the time it was my turn, I was already frustrated. It felt like the whole thing could’ve been a lot more organized and quicker.

I bought this mainly to use a bunch of Android apps, but it’s been frustrating. Like, half the apps I actually use either crash randomly or just don’t load right at all. I contacted support hoping for something useful, but they basically just sent me the usual reset/restart steps, which didn’t really fix anythign. Kinda disappointing.

I was ready to pick up a Boox device, but the screen sizes just didn’t really work for me. It feels like they’re either a bit too small or suddenly way too big, and there isn’t much in between. I ordered from boox.com and felt a little stupid for trusting that the shipping would be smooth and quick. It wasn’t awful, but it definitely wasn’t fast either. It took a few days longer than I expected, and the tracking barely updated at first, which made me wonder what was going on. The item did arrive in good condition in the end, so I can’t say it was a huge problem, but I really wish the delivery had been quicker and more transparent

My Boox stylus keeps skipping lines and lagging, and it makes writing notes way more annoying than it should be. Every time I try to jot something down, it feels messy and unreliable. I swear, styluses like this always seem great in theory but end up being frustrating when you actually need them.

My Boox had a screen issue while it was still under warranty, and dealing with support was frustrating. They kept asking me the same questions over and over, but weeks went by without any real solution. I feel like customers dealing with a warranty problem should get clearer answers and faster help. I expected better service.

I have been trying to use it, but the menus lag more than I expected and it gets frustrating quickly. The settings also do not feel very intuitive, so I end up clicking around trying to figure out where things are. It could be much better with a smoother layout and clearer options.

I got this mostly for taking notes, it’s been disappointing. Sometimes the writing feel is actually nice, but then syncing notes is clunky, pages lag, and I’ve even had a few not save properly. The menus are confusing too, which makes everything feel more frustrating than it should. For what this thing costs, I expected a much smoother experience. What a joke.
